We’re pleased to offer our CPR Training course, which is a hands-on and practical experience designed to teach you the fundamentals of life-saving cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). By the end of this course, you will have the confidence and knowledge to respond appropriately in the event of a cardiac emergency.
Who should attend?
Our course is open to everyone, regardless of previous experience or profession. Whether you’re a concerned parent, a teacher, a fitness instructor, a carer, or simply someone who wants to be prepared for emergencies, our CPR Training course is for you.
What You Will Learn
Our 3-hour course will teach you the fundamentals of CPR. We’ll teach you how to recognise the signs of cardiac arrest, perform chest compressions and rescue breaths, and operate an automated external defibrillator (AED). We also cover the recovery position and how to handle a choking incident, preparing you for a variety of emergency situations.
Course Duration
Our CPR Training course is designed to be both comprehensive and concise, lasting three hours. This gives plenty of time for practical exercises and questions, while also making the course engaging and easy to fit into your schedule.
Course Certification
After successfully completing the course, you will be awarded a certificate of completion. This certificate, accredited by Leeds First Aid Courses, is not a formal qualification, but it does show your dedication to safety and preparedness in the event of a cardiac emergency.
Assessment
Leeds First Aid Courses believes in continuous assessment. Throughout the course, our trainers will assess and provide feedback on your technique and comprehension.
We do not have a final exam; rather, we focus on providing real-time feedback to help you learn and improve. This ensures that you leave our course with confidence and capability.
